PS: He recently spent a couple of nights at The Hotel California. This is his report:

‘Due to tons of complaints and negative reviews on Tripadvisor, a more customer friendly policy was installed and changes have been made to improve the service quality:

- they do have wine now

- “The beast” can be killed - in fact, I smacked 2 of those huge, annoying “beasts” - insects, who bother you at night on your balcony, with a Flip Flop

- updated check out/leave policy: you can LEAVE anytime you want now - in fact, you have to LEAVE/Check Out before 12:00 pm, else there is a 35 $ fine!

Did not see any dancing pretty boys (not a deal breaker). After the long overdue renovation they classed up the rooms and got rid of that brothel feel, i.e. no more “mirrors on the ceiling”. Still some voices down the corridor, but you have them in all Hotels...“SHE” switched that Mercedes Benz for a Tesla. “Her mind” is no longer “Tiffany-Twisted”. Now it’s “Chopard-Coocoo” !

In conclusion, it was a much better experience than the guy from The Eagles had back in the day and Hotel California deserves another chance ...’
